Planning & Support
Trained multi-lingual staff helping you access local services. Advocacy, family counselling and women's support from experienced staff and volunteers.
Translation & Interpretation
In-house trained volunteers to assist in translating and interpreting, supporting community users to access the services they need.
Advice Bureau
Supporting clients from all backgrounds with utility bills, housing, Universal Credit, PIP and more — thorough, compassionate guidance.
Asylum Seeker Support
Food, warmth, a resting shoulder — we offer encouragement, training, engagement and celebration for those navigating the asylum process.
Job Assistance
Comprehensive support across all aspects of job hunting — preparation, placement and retention, including vocational English and interview workshops.
Community Activities
Celebrations, public meetings, voluntary activities and organised events that strengthen bonds across Sheffield's diverse communities.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

Our ESOL Skills for Life qualifications are based on the National Standards for Adult Literacy and closely related to the ESOL Core Curriculum. Designed specifically for people living in Britain, they prepare learners for the world of work and citizenship — improving communication, fluency and employability.

Target learners include settled minority communities, refugees and asylum seekers. Each unit is internally assessed with flexible, centre-determined assessment dates.

Our Work Club tackles unemployment among Sheffield's African and Arab communities. We welcome work-ready clients, single parents, people with learning difficulties and elderly community members — removing barriers and building genuine pathways into work.

We bring in professional mentors including doctors, lawyers and accountants to give every client the holistic support they deserve.
